The cup is a small, bell-shaped container, which is anti-allergic, vegan and free from latex, BPA, plasticizers and fragrances, made in soft medical-grade silicone. Insert the cup into your vagina and it safely collects the fluid rather than absorbing it. Once it's in place, it will fit comfortably against the vaginal walls, providing up to 8 hours of leak-proof protection. It offers you the protection you need: day or night, travelling, or exercising. Menstrual cups strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor and protect and maintain the vaginal microbiome, consequently preventing dryness which in turn reduces the likelihood of bacterial infections. With the right care, they can be used for several years. It's one way of doing your bit to reduce plastic waste and protect the environment. Menstrual cups are available in 3 sizes (S, M, L). S: Light to moderate flow (20 ml), low cervix. M: Moderate to heavy flow (25 ml), average cervix. L: Heavy flow (30 ml), high cervix. Easy to clean: wash the menstrual cup with water and a gentle soap. You should sterilise your cup for 3 minutes in boiling water before and after your period, in the sterilising container included. And it comes with a cotton bag, perfect for storage.
